Antequera Golf Course
Antequera Golf Course , designed by José María Cañizares, has often been described as easy and fun! It is located in the hills of Gand¡a, about 650 metres above sea level in the northern part of Malaga province, and surrounded by the spectacular Torcal Mountains.
Its fairways are lined by indigenous olive trees of which some are more than 200 years old. The course designers have placed special emphasis on maintaining the area's beautiful and natural flora and fauna characteristics.
The back nine holes were inaugurated in the summer of 2003, and the entire course, which is more than 6,000 metres in length, includes 10 lakes which all collect water from the mountains in winter that can be used during the summer and warmer months.
Each half of Antequera golf has two par-five holes, two par-three holes (one short, one long) and five par-four holes, one of which being reachable from the tee with a good, hearty drive.
