Ball Park at Agro Jardin

If the weather has turned, or you fancy a couple of hours out of the sun and are wondering what to do with yourselves then the ball park at Agro Jardin is a great place to come. Located off the N-340 at km 164 (between San Pedro and Estepona) you really cannot miss the huge Agro Jardin Garden Centre.

In here, as well as the regular garden centre bits and bobs, they do have a very well thought out pet shop to the rear of the main building. They have rabbits, dogs, cats, mice, gerbils, guinea pigs, often hedgehogs, tortoises, terrapins and chipmunks as well as an aquarium, an aviary and vivariums with snakes, scorpions, lizards and such.

The kids of all ages seem to love them, and they are kept very well here.

As you wander through Agro Jardin you will come to the coffee shop which has a ball park of medium size. This is where a lot of mums and dads come to seek sanctuary when their loved ones are bouncing off the walls at home on a dull day.

You can stay for as long as you like, and you are not badgered in any way to have refreshment, so it is a great place to let the little ones run off some steam. The age limit on the ball park is maximum 8 years (although the Spanish seem to ignore this sometimes) and socks must be worn in it when playing.

If you do wander round, as well as the obvious plants on offer, Agro Jardin also has some pretty smart furniture for indoors as well as out, and loads of beautiful accessories. At Christmas time it comes into its own though and has the most magnificent array of Christmas decorations on display you want to buy them all!!
