Club de Golf Valderrama
The 18 hole Valderrama Golf Club designed by Robert Trent Jones and opened in 1985 is regarded by many as the jewel in the Costa del Sol’s golfing crown. The whole course can be enjoyed by enthusiasts and professionals alike with every hole being of championship quality.
The 1997 Ryder Cup was hosted here at Valderrama Golf Club as have been the Volvo Masters Andalucia 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006.
The prevailing winds Poniente and Levante that are so common to southern Spain add variety to the conditions on which the course is played. Every hole is immaculate and Club de Golf Valderrama is ranked number one in Continental Europe.
