Hotel Amanhavis

The amazing Amanhavis Hotel nestles within the Moorish village of Benahavis, just a short drive off the main N-340 coast road near San Pedro de Alcántara and just 10 minutes away from Marbella town itself.

Benahavis town is steeped in history and is famous all along the coast for having at least 27 first class restaurants within its vicinity. There are also many bars and bodega’s to be found in the maze of narrow streets.

The Hotel Amanhavis draws it’s inspiration from the Moorish influences of the town. Decorated in superb Arabic fashion, you could forget you were in Spain at all. Each of the hotel’s 9 rooms have been given wonderful names, with decoration and furniture to suit…The Alchemist’s Laboratory, The Astronomer’s Observatory, complete with windowed ceiling and telescope and The Spice Trader’s Caravan to name but three. The modern elements of each room, like televisions for example, have all been discreetly hidden in pieces of furniture, so as not to detract from the splendour of it all.

Dining here at the Amanhavis Hotel is in the rustic, yet elegant restaurant. Voted, a few years ago, as one of the top ten restaurants in Andalusia, its menu is a creative blend of Spanish and local produce and the head chef is constantly on the look out for the finest ingredients. The menu changes daily, with at least 6 new dishes added depending on what the freshest, ripest ingredients are. During the summer months, the restaurant opens out onto the inner terrace around the pool area, allowing diners to enjoy the atmosphere.

As well as the pool facilities, the Hotel Amanhavis has a wide range of activities and excursions available. From walking or exploring the nearby mountains, to watersports on the beach, everything is available through reception.

Being so close to so many first rate golf courses, Benahavis has 7 golf clubs just in the local vicinity! Reception can recommend and book any course you wish according to your handicap or preference of play.

The Hotel Amanhavis is also a great venue for weddings. Being so intimate, there really is room for only about 45 guests you can have the wedding of your dreams in such a special place. Everything can be taken care of for you if you wish to make your special day to run as smoothly as possible.
