Like Benalmadena, the hotels in Fuengirola on the Costa del Sol are mainly high rise due to the overwhelming popularity of this growing town over the last 4 decades. Just where do you put everyone?

It would seem that there is not much more space to build any more hotels in Fuengirola which is why the surrounding towns, shops and golf courses are now seeing their own "boom" as it were but don't let the thought of high rise put you off.
