Los Arqueros Golf Course
Los Arqueros Golf Course is one of the most popular courses on the Costa del Sol and is probably the one that I have played most. If you like a challenge, there are some holes on this course that would have a professional weeping with frustration.
Being one of the most undulating and hilly courses, set on the hills of the Ronda road, you would be wise to take plenty of golf balls with you. Saying this, it is also one of the most enjoyable courses that I have played with some very welcome "breather" holes spread evenly throughout the course.
If you are anything other than a straight hitter, I would recommend an hour or so, on their driving range before playing. For a big hitter like myself, Los Arqueros Golf Course tempts you to "go for it" on a number of holes and the exhilaration of getting it right greatly outweighs the number of lost balls on previous holes.
The clubhouse and staff at Los Arqueros Golf Course make you feel instantly at home and the greens and fairways are always kept in immaculate condition. I would recommend that you play this course at least once during your stay on the Costa del Sol and the nice surprise is that during the summer months, a round will cost you about €28. Not bad at all.
I won't say too much else about the course except watch out for holes 7 and 8, they can really get to you!
