Marbella Golf and Country Club

Marbella Golf and Country Club is one of the many courses on the Costa del Sol designed by Robert Trent Jones. It is one of the most exciting courses on the coast and uses the rolling Andalucian hillsides to provide a challenging but enjoyable round. Marbella Golf Course and Country Club golf course has gently undulating fairways that meander between the natural, local olive groves. The course has several lakes which must be well respected and many bunkers surrounding the receptive greens.

The course has beautiful sea views and is located just minutes from central Marbella town and Puerto Banus. Marbella Golf would typically suit players with a handicap of 24 or less although everyone is welcome.

Having only played this course twice I didn't manage to really get into it and give it a good go although it was very enjoyable. If I remember correctly, the second shot on the 18th requires some accuracy as it is a steep uphill shot to the green which is about 10 yards in front of the clubhouse.
