Sotogrande International School - Sotogrande International School is probably the gem in the educational crown here on the Costa del Sol. It is located in the up and coming district of Sotogrande between Estepona and Gibraltar, with the campus being situated in a beautiful wooded area.
It offers an education following the British National Curriculum and has students from many nationalities studying here. It is also a boarding school for students who need to be residential with a boarding house located on campus and offering the students a home from home environment.
This modern, purpose built campus was finished in 2001 and now has state of the art facilities for its students to enjoy. Included is the Primary School block with provisions made for the younger students with a specialist library and facilities for their development and growth.
Then there are the Secondary School facilities which include science laboratories, IT rooms, library, art rooms, music centre, sports hall, outdoor swimming pool, all weather sports field and running track. The whole site is linked via a wireless internet network enabling students to work from computer and lap-tops with ease.
There is an admissions process here as places are limited and you will need to register your child and depending on the age of the student, they will be expected to take an entrance exam and/or be interviewed.
