Trenecito Mini Train in Marbella
Trenecito Mini Train in Marbella - This charming little train wends its way around the streets of Marbella and really gives you a chance to see Marbella from a different perspective.
If you are staying in one of Marbella’s many hotels, then make your way to the main marina area and the train sets off from the western end of the paseo.
If you are making your own way to Marbella by car, once on Ricardo Soriano or the main street through the centre of town you will see many parking signs. You may be lucky enough to catch a space on the side of the road but as with any town, if in doubt, don’t! The police are pretty hot on dodgy parking and you don’t want to come back and find your car has been towed away!
Setting off from the point on the paseo called El Faro or lighthouse (opposite the ‘La Pesquera Restaurant’) the blue and white train does a full circuit of Marbella going passed many points of interest en-route.
Starting off with a tour through the old town, past the Parque de la Represa and the fountain near the Bonsai Museum, then around and along the main thoroughfare, Ricardo Soriano, over to the western side of town taking in the Harley Davidson bar ‘Frank’s Corner’ and coming back through the Parque de la Constitucion and the Paseo.
You can get on and off the train at selected points so you can see some of the points of interest at your leisure and the train leaves Calle El Faro point from 11.00am every day and the round trip takes 25minutes.
The Trenecito Mini Train in Marbella costs 4 euro for adults and children over 5, children under 5 go free.
